What is permanent jewelry?

Permanent Jewelry is a clasp-less piece of jewelry that can be applied to most areas of the body. It is thin, dainty custom bracelets, anklets, or necklaces that are custom fit to you and micro-welded onto you without a clasp. They come in 14k Gold, Sterling Silver or 14k Gold Filled. Permanent jewelry is popular, contemporary and fun to wear with personalized charms, semi precious & precious stones and signature styles with quality chains you'll create a permanent treasure that are creative and chic.

I use a quick millisecond and painless micro-weld technique to connect the ends without a clasp. Your permanent jewelry requires little maintenance, so you can relax and enjoy it effortlessly everyday!

Does permanent jewelry hurt?

What metals do you use for the jewelry?

I use sterling silver, 14k gold filled, 14k solid yellow gold, 14k white gold & 14k rose gold. There is options for everyone. No matter your preference or budget.

What is the cost?

Prices varies. All chains are sold by the inch. Starting as low as $5. This price includes the chain, welding and any O ring if needed to close the weld and a care kit. Prices vary depends on the chain you choose and whether you add on a charm, semi-precious stone(s) personalized letter charm or other unique talisman to make sparkle all your own in a bracelet, anklet or necklace. Stock rotates seasonally. Some charms are special order only. I accept cash and credit cards (credit cards have a 3.5% processing fee) If not purchased at a pop up or one of my shows and an appointment is required; I do require a $25 non-refundable deposit. This deposit goes 100% towards your purchase and is used only to hold your appointment time of 30 minutes. Since all jewelry is customized, all sales are final.

Do I need an appointment to get permanent jewelry?

YES! A 30 minute appointment is needed to come to my studio for installing of your jewelry. However if you attend one of my pop ups or shows then no appointment is needed, just wait your turn. How long will my jewelry stay on?

Your pieces will stay on for as long as you'd like. However, care and maintenance is needed for your permanent jewelry to last. Also the type of metal is important for it's longevity. Solid gold will last a lifetime with little care. Gold filled, you can do everyday actives with it but it is recommended to keep out of chemicals and salt water as it will wear, cleaning it and regular care will improve its life. Should last you 5+ years with out troubles. Sterling Silver, again you can do everyday activities and wearing it is good for the permanent jewelry as the oils from your body help keep the tarnish away. With good care it should last you 5+ years. If for some reason you would need/like to remove your jewelry, simply cut the chain (scissors or fingernail clippers) and save it if you'd like me to re-weld it in the future. If you can just cut a link and open the link to remove; then no length will be lost a the repair much easier. If you have decided to remove it but would like to make it a normal piece of jewelry by adding a clasp; that can be done! Just contact me to make an appointment and I can remove it and add the clasp. Price varies on type of clasp and type of metal.

Can I go through airport security with permanent jewelry?

Absolutely! TSA does not ask you to remove fine jewelry, so you will be able to wear your jewelry with you on all your adventures!

Your permanent jewelry should be removed before an MRI or CT. Save your jewelry and I can re-weld it for you at no charge (first time, small fee any additional welds)

Can I get an MRI or CT with permanent jewelry?

Because your chain has no clasp and is custom fit to perfectly fit your wrist, ankle or neck, it should not break. However, if it does break AT THE WELD spot within 48 hours, then I will re-weld at no charge. If it breaks at another location save your chain and make an appointment; I'd be happy to look at it and see if it can be welded and reapplied for a small fee.

What if my chain breaks?

If you have a pacemaker you should NOT get permanent jewelry because of the welding process. Allergies to solid gold, sterling silver and gold fill are rare; but those with metal allergies should not get permanent jewelry.

Who should not get permanent jewelry?

You can clean your welded jewelry and charms with warm water, a gentle tooth brush and mild dish soap. Jewelry polishing cloths also work great to get them polished up and back to their super shiny shelves! Solid Gold: Little care is needed here. Give it wipe with a jewelry cloth once and awhile to keep it fresh. Periodically clean with a mild soap & soft brush. Good for a lifetime! Gold Filled: You are fine to shower in gold filled jewelry, & get it wet. I recommend you remove it in salt water. Wearing it while using basic lotions is fine, but keep it away from anything strong: ie. retinol, peels, glycolic acid, etc. Good for 5+ years with proper care! Clean it periodically with mild soap & soft brush or a good wipe with a jewelry cloth. Sterling Sliver: Wearing the jewelry is great! The oils on your skin helps keep the tarnish away. Avoid corrosion. Try not to get into chemicals. Polish with a jewelry cloth from time to time to prevent tarnish. Good for 5+ years with proper care! If tarnish: Combine warm water with mild soap, such as a phosphate-free dishwashing soap. If soap doesn't work, combine water and baking soda to make a paste. You should apply a pea-sized amount of the paste to a clean cloth to polish the silver. Use a soft bristled brush to reach between crevices. Once done, run it under warm water before drying it with a clean cloth. Now good as new!

How do you care/ clean my permanent jewelry?

I'm happy to weld a permanent bracelet, anklet or necklace on anyone over the age of 14. Under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present and sign the consent form.

I'm a minor. Can I get a custom piece of permanent jewelry?

I do offer a discount on multiple piece purchased at one time. Two piece = 10% off Three or more = 15% off Discounts do NOT apply to show specials or your first piece of jewelry. All sales are FINAL once the chain is cut.
