Depending on the area being treated, you may need to change in to a robe or have loose fitting clothing that will allow easy access to the area and clothing you don't mind getting messy.      2. Preparation           1. Moisturizers MUST NOT be applied prior to your treatment.           2.Drink plenty of water to plump the skin and help your body move the fluids to get the best results with drainage.      3. Treatment           1. Your esthetician has been trained in  this professional application techniques & will work with you to achieve the best results possible           2. Your skin will be cleansed, then crystals will be applied to the treatment area. with the aid of steam or misted water the crystals will be moved in a clockwise way with the PowerDerm handle to open the Lymphatic pathways.           3. Once treatment is complete, removal of the crystals with sponges and warm water and then cleansed again.           4. Finished with a application of barrier cream to sooth and feed the skin.      4. After Treatment Care & Advice           1. Loosen tight clothing to encourage the lymph flow           2. Increase your water intake over the next few days after your treatment           3. Reduce your caffeine intake           4. Avoid hot baths, saunas etc, for at least a couple of hours           5. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours           6. Try to reduce smoking (if you smoke)           7. Make time to relax and rest - this allows for the blood pressure to return to normal if it has dropped during a treatment           8. Diet is important; a light diet of raw foods is recommended so that the body does not need to concentrate on a sluggish digestion.​  Occasionally, you may experience reactions when the body begins its self-healing process to include elimination of toxins.
